terms, policies & conditions

  • 1.1 All appointments must be secured with a non-refundable deposit, payable at the time of booking.
1.2 Appointments not confirmed with a deposit will not be reserved.
1.3 Clients are permitted to reschedule their appointment up to 48 hours in advance, with the original deposit transferable to the new date.
1.4 If rescheduling occurs less than 48 hours prior to the appointment, a new deposit will be required.
1.5 If a client cancels their appointment and subsequently books a new one, the previous deposit is forfeited and cannot be transferred or deducted from the new booking.
1.6 Deposits are refundable only in the event that the appointment is cancelled by the nail artist.

  • 2.1 First-time clients who cancel within 48 hours or fail to attend their appointment will be required to pay the entire remaining balance of the service within 48 hours.
2.2 Returning clients who cancel within 48 hours or fail to attend their appointment must pay 50% of the remaining balance.
2.3 Non-compliance with payment terms may result in the client being permanently blacklisted.
2.4 Unpaid balances may be escalated to a debt collection agency for formal recovery.
2.5 Rescheduling or cancellations must be processed using the link provided in the confirmation email.

  • 3.1 Clients who attend three (3) or more consecutive appointments are considered regular clients.
3.2 Regular clients may be granted more flexible rescheduling terms; however, a minimum of 48 hours' notice is still required.
3.3 Regular clients who cancel without notice or reschedule late may still forfeit their deposit or be required to pay a cancellation fee.

  • 4.1 Clients arriving more than 20 minutes late to their scheduled appointment will forfeit their time slot, and the cancellation/no-show policy will apply.
4.2 The nail artist may adjust the service provided if lateness impacts the appointment schedule.
4.3 Clients are requested to notify the nail artist promptly in the event of a delay.

  • 5.1 Squeeze-in appointments are available upon request and subject to availability.
5.2 A €20 surcharge applies and must be paid in advance to secure the time slot.

  • 6.1 The salon currently accepts payment via mobile payment services (e.g., Tikkie) and cash.
6.2 The salon does not provide change. Clients paying in cash must bring the exact amount.
6.3 The nearest ATM is located at Albert Heijn, Columbuskwartier.

  • 7.1 A complimentary five (5) day maintenance period applies to all services, covering lifting, chipping, or charm loss.
7.2 After this window, repair services will incur a per-nail fee.
7.3 Clients are advised to treat enhancements as decorative items (jewelry) and avoid using them as tools.
7.4 If lifting or damage is observed within the guarantee period, the client must contact the nail artist immediately to prevent further complications, including potential injury or infection (e.g., pseudomonas/"greenies").

  • 8.1 The nail artist offers the removal of work previously performed by other technicians.

8.2 Due to the variation in products, techniques, and potential damage caused by other services (e.g., acrylic, MMA, excessive e-filing), a foreign removal incurs an additional charge. This charge reflects the time and care required to safely remove unknown product types.

8.3 Foreign removals include a health assessment of the natural nail plate. If, upon removal, the nail artist determines that the client’s natural nails are severely compromised or damaged to a degree that renders enhancement unsafe, the client may be advised to postpone further services until the nail health has recovered.

8.4 In such cases, the nail artist will still provide a gentle manicure treatment and aftercare guidance. The client will be charged only for the removal and manicure, and not for the originally booked enhancement.

  • 9.1 Clients are encouraged to send inspiration images or style preferences at least 48 hours prior to the appointment to ensure availability of materials.
9.2 Clients who are undecided may opt for a freestyle design at the discretion of the nail artist.

  • 10.1 Clients are fully responsible for providing accurate measurements and clearly communicating their desired design specifications.
10.2 The nail artist is not liable for incorrect sizing, miscommunication of art direction, or dissatisfaction with a design that was poorly described.
10.3 The nail artist is not responsible for loss or damage during shipping, nor for allergic reactions resulting from press-on nail materials.

  • 11.1 The nail artist is trained and certified in the following professional programs:

    • BIAB & Russian Manicure – Sabrinails

    • Manicure PRO & Zonder Lifting – Julia Visser

    • No More Lifting – Diana’s Nail Art

11.2 These certifications include advanced training in:

    • Nail anatomy

    • pH balance testing of gel products

    • Product application without damaging the nail plate

    • Sterilization and hygiene protocols according to Russian manicure standards

11.4 The nail artist is qualified to recognize product-related issues, prevent damage, and deliver safe, durable results.

  • 12.1 The salon and the nail artist shall not be held liable for:

    • Allergic reactions to any products used

    • Pre-existing nail or skin conditions exacerbated by services

    • Any injury or infection arising from failure to follow aftercare advice

    • Loss or damage to personal belongings during an appointment

    • Shipping issues or dissatisfaction related to press-on nail orders

  • 13.1 No refunds will be issued under any circumstance, including dissatisfaction with a completed service.
13.2 The nail artist is open to discussing mutually acceptable resolutions where appropriate.
13.3 Deposits are only refundable if an appointment is cancelled by the nail artist.

  • 14.1 Due to the limited space of the salon, additional guests are not permitted during appointments. If a client requires an exception (e.g., caregiver, translator), prior approval must be requested via text message at least 24 hours in advance. Unauthorized guests may result in appointment refusal.

14.2 Pets are not allowed in the salon under any circumstances, in accordance with hygiene and health regulations.

14.3 During the appointment, clients are expected to maintain proper hand hygiene. Clients must refrain from:

    • Touching their face, hair, or makeup,

    • Handling food,

    • Using hand creams, oils, or products—especially from tubs or containers that require dipping hands,

    • Applying any moisture-based product without prior consent from the nail artist.

Hands must remain clean and dry throughout the service to ensure product adhesion and service quality. The nail artist shall not be held responsible for service outcomes compromised by failure to follow this guideline.

14.4 Each appointment is allocated a specific time slot, which is visible during the booking process. Due to the time-intensive nature of detailed nail art services, appointments may take longer than standard sessions.

Clients are strongly advised to plan accordingly and avoid scheduling conflicting obligations directly before or after their appointment. Rushed clients risk receiving an incomplete or unsatisfactory service, and the nail artist accepts no liability in such cases.

14.5 The nail artist maintains the right to terminate any appointment immediately and without refund in the event of:

    • Verbal or physical abuse,

    • Harassment,

    • Deliberate misuse or tampering with products or equipment,

    • Repeated violation of salon policies or hygiene standards.

In such instances, the client will be asked to leave the premises, and future appointments may be refused.
